Cressbrook Hall, Peak District

Winter Wedding

Faye and Rowan’s winter wedding was a spectacular affair on a sunny October day. Faye and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready, listening to music and laughing. The spirits were high. When the time of the ceremony approached, Faye got into the Rolls Royce which was waiting outside to take her to the church. Faye, stood with her father, made some beautiful images just before the ceremony. Rowan, with a smile on his face, was waiting for Faye in the church. After the vows, I got in my car and followed the Rolls Royce with Rowan and Faye in it through the amazing country side of Peak District. We stopped for a few casual shots against the unforgettable backdrop, on the way to the wedding venue. While the newly weds admired the view, the  perfect photo opportunity presented itself to catch a few photos with no posing involved!

Cressbrook Hall

Cressbrook Hall, located at the Peak District really is a jaw dropper. As you approach the premises, the most striking view opens up with the building leaning against the valley. The grounds were prefect, with plenty of photo opportunities of the couple. More fun shots were on offer while the wedding party had a goof around on the lawn. At the back of the building you could find an elegant garden, with trees, flowers and a little fountain. The autumn colours were bright and prominent, and made the already breath – taking location ever more spectacular. It made me yearn for more weddings even further up north. The day, the party and the location couldn’t have been any better, and the photos turned out stunning – just like the couple themselves. Congratulations to the lovely Faye and Rowan!
